Old Town Orcutt is the home of the area's newest wine country restaurant serving up innovative California Cuisine. A bistro is a small, quaint restaurant that offers local and fresh , high quality, seasonal cuisine. The focus of a bistro is on the FOOD. Here in the Santa Maria Valley Wine Country we focus on perfect food and wine pairings. We are so excited to be part of this new evolution of eating on the Central Coast. Chef Sam Zaugg's vision is for his guests to relax, enjoy and respond to his "comfort food" menu. A graduate of a traditional culinary school, Sam has been influenced by many along the way until he has arrived upon his unique style of innovative California cuisine which combines fresh, local ingredients prepared for everyday dishes with a personal gourmet twist.
The homemade foccacia bread is used for some special sandwich creations like Sam's very own Chicken Pesto sandwich or his Bistro Burger, a 1/2 lb grilled Angus beef and topped with Cottswold Cheddar, tomatoe, lettuce, avocado and olive aoli.
Dine inside our bistro at white linen table cloths, candles and dimmed lighting or at the 25 ft. artisan created concrete bar. The bar is a one of a kind creation by Dan Jacobs.
Or you may choose to dine on our 1500 sq. ft. patio, under the hand crafted arbor enclosed with a canvas cover and heaters to make a year round dining destination. You will enjoy the soft jazz music coming from the 4 outdoor JBL speakers. On your way to your patio table, you will pass by our chefs cooking your gourmet pizzas, meats and small plates in the wood fired pizza oven. Now that spring time has finally arrived you will enjoy being surrounded by flowers, vegetables and herbs used in our dishes.
