Dear Customer, 

            Thank you for considering The Wine Cottage Bistro for your next special event. We are sure you will find The Wine Cottage Bistro to be the perfect choice for your event. Our highly-qualified, knowledgeable staff will offer personalized event planning so you can have the event of your dreams.  Our outdoor garden patio can accommodate up to 100 guests.  With options such as lights, candles, chocolate fountain, colored table cloths and flowers, you will have a grand experience.

           

Our Chef, Matt LaRocco will be happy to customize a menu to best fit your needs. We will be glad to meet with you to decide what menu choices would work best for your party.  Choose a four course meal to be paired with local wine to complement each dish.

           

            We do not charge for the use of our facility as long as your food and beverage cost equal at least $1500.00 during the four hour time period that you have reserved.  In order to secure your desired date, a 20% deposit is required upon booking your event. The full balance is required 7 days prior to the event. Failure to pay the full balance will result in a loss of the date along with the initial deposit.

Important Meeting and Banquet Information

 

Food and Beverage: all food and beverage must be purchased through The Wine Cottage. No food or beverages may be brought in to our facility from outside sources unless approved in advance by management. Likewise, banquet meals served on the property may not be taken off the property.

Guarantee: a guarantee of attendance must be called in to The Wine Cottage Bistro no later than seven days prior to the event. The Wine Cottage will be prepared for 5% over the guarantee. You are responsible for payment of the guaranteed amount plus any overage served. Vegetarian and special meals requests should be included with your guarantee. If you do not provide your guarantee seven days prior to the event, we will use your preliminary number as your guarantee.

Multiple Entrees: We strongly recommend that you select one entrée for your entire group. However, we will allow up to two entrée selections under the following conditions: 1) The exact guarantee of each item is due seven days prior to event, 2) the highest priced selection determines the price of both selections.

Decorations:           The Wine Cottage Bistro will provide decorative lights and candles for your event. Additional decorations must be approved by The Wine Cottage Bistro in advance. You will be responsible for the application and removal of decorations.

Beverage Notice: All alcoholic beverages to be served on the premises must be dispensed by The Wine Cottage Bistro employees. Proper identification to verify a person’s age is required. We reserve the right to refuse alcoholic beverage service to any person who, in our sole judgment, appears to be intoxicated.

Entertainment: You are welcome to bring in entertainment with advance notice and The Wine Cottage Bistro approval. The Wine Cottage reserves the right to monitor and control the volume of entertainment of the premises.

Liability: The Wine Cottage Bistro reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions. The Wine Cottage Bistro cannot assume responsibility for personal property brought onto the premises. Any items left behind after special events will be discarded after 48 hours.

Insurance and indemnification: Groups and members of groups shall indemnify and hold The Wine Cottage Bistro and its affiliates harmless from any and all claims, suits, losses, damages, and expenses on account of injury to any party in connection with the function, or resulting from damage or destruction of any restaurant property by the group of member of a group on the restaurant’s premises.

Catering Policy

 

Deposits: The Wine Cottage Bistro’s standard booking window is 12 months, a non-refundable 20% initial deposit is required in order to reserve a function date. Deposits received by check will not secure your date until the check has cleared.

Payment: All catering charges will be on a cash or credit card basis. Pre-payment of the remaining amount is due seven days in advance of the scheduled event. Any remaining balance resulting from additional charges is payable at the end of the function.

Cancellation: Deposits are not refundable. Additional fees may apply if event is cancelled within 30 days of the function.

Service Charge: A service charge of 20% plus applicable sales tax will be added to all food and beverages.

Security: The Wine Cottage Bistro does not assume responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise left in the restaurant prior to or after the event. The Wine Cottage Bistro may also require security guards at the group’s expense, for certain events. The Wine Cottage Bistro shall have final approval on any and all security personnel to be utilized by your group.

Food and Beverage: The Wine Cottage Bistro prohibits any outside catering of food and beverage, other than previously arranged corkage and ceremonial cakes, which are subject to service fees. Likewise, any banquet meals served on the property may not be taken to go or boxed for removal from the function area.

Multiple Entrees: We strongly recommend that you select one entrée for your entire group. However, we will allow up to two entrée selections under the following conditions, 1) The exact guarantee of each item is provided at least three days prior to event; 2) the highest priced selection will be the price of both selections.

Guarantees: A guaranteed number of function attendees must be specified at least seven days in advance. The guarantee will not be subject to reduction. If the guarantee is not received, the original contract count will be considered the guarantee. The Wine Cottage Bistro will be prepared to accommodate 5% over you final guarantee of attendance, however, food is prepared for the guarantee only.

Ceremonial cakes: There will be a standard $1.50 per person cake-cutting fee for all cakes brought in, subject to a service charge and sales tax.

Event Bars: Only wine and beer shall be served on the restaurant’s premises and must be dispensed only by Wine Cottage Bistro servers and bartenders. Proper identification to verify a person’s age is required. We reserve the right to refuse alcoholic beverage service to any person who, in The Wine Cottage Bistro’s sole judgment, appears to be intoxicated.

Corkage: Wine and Champagne may be brought in with prior approval and the payment of a corkage fee. Corkage fee is $15.00 per 750ml bottle, $20.00 1.5 liter bottle plus service charge and sales tax.

All food, beverages and packages are subject to state sales tax and 20% service charge.
